Hedges Family Karate was established by Master Robert Hedges in 1981. He is a Certified Master Instructor (Sa Bom Nim) , and is Chairman of the UK Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Technical Advisory committee. Master Hedges has studied under the instruction of Grandmaster Hwang Kee. All HFKC instructors have been personally trained by Master Hedges to ensure a uniform high quality and consistency of approach. At Hedges Family Karate Centres our primary purpose is to promote the study of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. Through this study, we will help you build character, develop confidence, self-control, courtesy, respect and discipline. You will be given the most enjoyable and productive training experience possible both mentally and physically with support and encouragement available each and every step of the way to "Black Belt" success. We promote the study of our martial art Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan and work toward world peace by improving human relations.
